Part 1: Reading
Comprehension (40 minutes)
- Test 1: Answer multiple choice
questions about the contents of a
informational text.
- Test 2: Candidates have to find
information in a text.
Part 2: Written paper (50 minutes)
Write a simple and practical text (such
as notes or a postcard).
Part 3: Listening Comprehension (30
minutes)
- Answer questions from a recorded
conversation.
Part 4: Grammar and vocabulary (40
minutes)
- Relate sentences to the corresponding
situations.
- Find words and expressions not related
to the context of the text.
- Complete a text (multiple choice).
Part 5: Oral exam (10 minutes)
- A conversation with the examiners about
a simple subject.

Part 1: Reading
Comprehension (60 minutes)
- Answer 12 multiple choice questions
about the contents of 4 texts.
Part 2: Written paper
- Write a letter
- Write an essay (150-200 words)
Part 3: Listening Comprehension (30
minutes)
- Answer 12 questions (multiple choice),
based on 4 recordings.
Part 4: Grammar and vocabulary (60
minutes)
- Test 1: Fill in the blank spaces in a
text (multiple choice).
- Test 2: Fill in the blank spaces in
sentences.
Part 5: Oral exam
- A conversation with the examiners about
a simple subject (10 to 15 minutes).

words).
